Below are a few of the types of letters we enjoy receiving at Stockley Kennels.
We won't publish them all, but hope they will help with your decision of purchasing or training at our kennel.

Dear Neil,
It was a pleasure meeting you and of course shooting quail over your outstanding dog. I
hope we get a chance to meet again and perhaps hunt together in the near future.
Enclosed is one of my companies last years catalogs. If it is alright with you I will mail you
a new catalog as soon as we get them back from the printer.
Have a great Field Trial season.
Sincerely,
Fred C. Mau

Dear Neil,
Just thought I'd drop you a note to say that Rebel is doing fine. He's a great dog. Hank, has turned out to be exactly
what we wanted for the Pheasant Hunters Unlimited Trials. He's retrieving pheasants like a champ. You sure do know how
to instill that great desire in force breaking them. Hank's first trial got him the runner-up championship in the doubles
division, between the trial pay-out and the Calcutta we took home $2,200. The next week we ran him in The Wisconsin Partridge
Championship and we took the Championship. He's making a big name for himself in the Midwest.
These are pretty good sized trials with over 60 dogs in the pheasant trial and over 50 in the partridge championship. We
are at the same time waiting for the shoot to retrieve trials to start here, and wait to see how they will perform then. Talk to you
soon.
Sincerely,
Barry

Dear Neil,
Enclosed is a picture of Abby on point at eight months. She is a real bird finding machine and so light on her feet she seems
to just glide through the fields when hunting. We really love her, and she is a tribute to her
daddy, Mac.
I also enclosed a write up of her only field trial competition thus far. I was pretty happy with the results and may run her in
some "shooting" or "derby" stakes. She really can run with most pointers, and beets the crap out of them on style. Since, I am
a hunter, first and foremost, I probably won't run her enough to title her, but you can be proud of knowing that this seed didn't fall
far from Mac's tree.
Very truly yours,
Cliff

Dear Neil,
Thank you very much for a terrific quail hunt. It's really a pleasure to see a professional practice his art as you and your dog did
last Tuesday afternoon.
If you are ever in southwest Virginia, please put Bassett on your schedule.
Thank you again.
Very truly yours,
Bob

Dear Neil,
A note to thank you and your family for putting up with me last week.
I enjoyed the company and the fine dinner.
The trip home was hot and Jock demanded the air conditioner.
I took him to our 600 acre hunting area at daylight this morning and worked him on 10 snappy pigeons. I put them
out, let them build up a little ground scent, and then ran him on them. It was hot so I shot two birds over a pond and he
did the water retrieve perfectly. I am going to work him every day for a couple of reminder retrieves on the dead pigeons.
I think you got him over the hump. The most amazing part of the entire training was that he has not barked once since he
has been home and he seems to have settled down. I think you did a great job with him and I appreciate your time and
effort.
Best regards,
Pete
