3-19-02 - I am sorry it has taken us so long to write, but we have just been having too much fun with "Lucy." She is a perfect puppy--the best that either of us has ever had. She lives to please, learns quickly, and loves a treat, making her extremely trainable. As you know, we are not hunting her (although my father tried to steal her at Christmas), rather, she is enjoying a life of leisure with her big sister. They wrestle and run together, and right now they are cuddled up on the bed--too adorable! She is so sweet natured and quiet, and we honestly cannot imagine our house without her. She has been the perfect addition to our family. After the death of a beloved dog this summer and the tragic events of September, Lucy has brightened our lives immeasurably. We need to take some new photos and will send you some when we do, but know that she is simply beautiful and graceful, and we are very thankful for her and are spoiling her rotten.
