Comments from some happy owners of DaSani's first litter.

9-15-02 - We have a name, Shane. Jessica named him. He was such a good boy on the ride home. We stopped and let him out every couple of hours. But he did not mind the car at all. He was up at 3 and 5 and 7 this morning. He did well though. He whined for a little but settled down and went to sleep for 2 hours at a time. He did not have any accidents in the kennel. He has been playing in the kitchen with the kids all morning and is sleeping now. Dan is taking Gauge out for a run and then we will let him meet Shane later this afternoon. It was great to have finally met you. Sorry that I did not get to met Neil. I have heard so much about him from Danny. Well the little guy is waking up so I have to go and take him out. I will keep in touch and let you klnow how he is doing. We love him already. He is a beautiful pup. Janine and Dan Fiers, Salisbury, MA., (DaSani/Steed 2002 litter)

UPDATE 3 days later - Just a quick e-mail to let you know how great Shane is doing. He has really adjusted well. He likes his crate and is only getting up once in the middle of the night. We are still keeping him in the kitchen. Last night we took him in the living room for a while after the kids went to sleep. The kids are having so much fun with him and I think it is teaching them about how much care a pup needs. Danny said he is a great puppy and learns quickly. He has really taken to me. I love him, he is just so sweet. Thank you again. I did watch the tape and I will have Danny bring it back to you when he comes to get Chief. UPDATE - I just thought that I would e-mail you and tell you how great Shane is doing. He is so smart it is amazing to me. He has been here 5 days now. He loves his crate and is house breaking very easily. Dan has been coming home at lunch and he has been dry. He let us sleep from 11:00 to 6:00 last night for the first time. You would not believe what he did yesterday. He climbed on top of the crate then walked across the top and pulled himself over the big piece of wood we have across the kitchen and dinning room. I got nervous he was going to hurt himself so i pulled the crate to the middle of the room and he climbs on to to get closer to the counter. So i took the crate out until night time or when we leave the house. I do have one question though. When can we give him more space in the house? I think he feels safe and likes the kitchen but would like to give him some more room. What do you think? Janine and Dan Fiers, Salisbury, MA., (DaSani/Steed 2002 litter)

UPDATE - 12-22-02- Danny has been working alot with Shane. He took him out yesterday and shot live birds over him for the first time. He is going back out with him today. It is warm here and the snow is gone. So he can start training again. Danny is very pleased with Shane he is showing great potential. He really loves birds and as expected he has a really good nose. Shane even broght the birds back to Danny yesterday. He is a good natured calm dog and we love him as we do Gauge. Janine and Dan Fiers, Salisbury, MA., (DaSani/Steed 2002 litter)

9-30-02 - Just wanted to let you know that the puppy "Callie" is doing great. What a bundle of energy! She is crate trained now, but we are still working on housebreaking. She is our older dog's shadow. They play well together. Even after playing in the yard during the day, she has so much energy we take her on a 2 mile walk every night to wear her out. She is very intelligent and stubborn. But most of all she is a sweetie!! Thank you for all your help. - Cheryl Fee, Warrenton, Va. (DaSani/Steed litter 2002)
