UPDATE - 9-06-02 - Dan wanted me to thank Neil for the info when he called last weekend. He has been very helpful to Danny. Danny is really enjoying working with the dog and seeing his progress in the field. Although he is unsure if he is doing the right thing by training him himself, Dan does not know if Gauge will reach his full potential doing it that way. But he is very impressed with Gauge's natural ability.(Hattie/Steed litter 2001) Dan and Janine Fiers, Salisbury, Mass.
4-24-02 - We just saw the puppies that were born to Gauges dad. Dan will be calling you this weekend. He has a friend that wants a dog but has not given dan a time he can come down to look at the dogs. Gauge is doing real well on the food that Neil told us to feed him. Thank you very much for your advice. He looks like a million bucks. I have to say that he has worked out very well A family dog for the kids and I and a great hunting dog for danny.
