Neil, Thought you might like to see this Pic of Piney, this grouse got up wild, then Piney circled around picked up the scent. Have a look. He is actually getting stronger as the season progresses. Still going hard, he will be 10 this year.

Just wanted to let you know Asia and Pat are fine. Asia is as sweet as ever. And the best pheasant dog one could ask for. She adapted to wild pheasants by doing whatever it took to get them into the game bag. Wily critters they are but she always finds a way to get them cornered and up in front of the gun. This was her 4th trip to South Dakota. She gave us quite a scare when she got sick. Finally figured out that she picked up Rocky Mountain Spotted fever somehow. Antibiotics fixed her up and she is fine now. She is living the good life here.
